My journey into health and fitness started with - of all things - an injury!
At 16, I dislocated my shoulder pretty badly, and after surgery to repair the damage, my goal was simple: get fit enough to play rugby again. What started as rehab quickly turned into a 40kg weight loss, and a brand new obsession with health and fitness! That transformation inspired me to become a personal trainer, helping others discover just how powerful movement and healthy habits can be. However, I didn’t stop there; I took it further, diving into a university degree in Nutrition to better understand how to fuel the body for success.
Along the way, I discovered something crucial: Recovery is just as important as training and nutrition. You can train hard and eat well, but if you’re not looking after your rest and recovery, you’ll hit a wall. That’s what sparked my love for Sports Massage - because optimising recovery means unlocking your full potential.
So take your recovery seriously - it’s the secret weapon to real progress!
